The Doctors

Dr. Kristen L. Siegel, D.C.
Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Kristen Siegel has called the Triangle area home now for 12 years.  She grew up on Long Island, New York.  Dr. Siegel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech in 1992.  She returned to New York for her graduate degree, graduating with honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1995.  She became a North Carolinian in that same year.  After treating patients in Durham for 1 1/2 years, she started Siegel Family Chiropractic, P.A. in 1997.

The practice grew and so did her own family.  She now has two children-ages 4 and 7.  Her love of children has prompted her to seek post-graduate training in pediatrics.  Dr. Siegel enjoys working with children of all ages.  She also treats many pregnant women with various techniques including Webster technique.  She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Dr. Siegel's family spends alot of time participating in/watching athletics.  Treating sports injuries is also something that she has had additional training in.  She has rounded out her education by becoming a certified personal trainer.  She is certified in Activator Technique.  She has recently become certified in acupuncture.  She uses this additional training to diagnose, treat, advise and refer to adjunct practitioners.

The practice has grown by referrals and needed to expand.  In 2006, Dr. Siegel found the perfect way to accomplish this by partnering with Dr. Melissa A. Marr.  The practice name has changed to Chapel Hill Family Chiropractic, P.A. We both continue to serve the families of Chapel Hill and surrounding areas.  We utilize traditional chiropractic techniques but strive to stay educated on the latest research and treatments.

Outside of the office, Dr. Siegel loves being a "Soccer (and baseball/basketball) Mom".  She enjoys trips to the beach, biking, hiking and running.
